| Return Authorization procedures for Transient Voltage Surge Suppressors (TVSS) |
| The TVSS devices you have purchased from Magney Grande Distribution, Inc. (MGD) come with manufacturer’s Limited Free Replacement Warranty for up to 20 years. In the event a TVSS device purchased from MGD fails, or if you feel the TVSS is not working properly, please follow the following procedures in order that we may provide a replacement device and failure analysis in the most timely manner possible. In the event a customer requires replacement of a failed TVSS prior to failure analysis, customer is responsible for payment of the replacement TVSS should failure analysis prove that the tested TVSS is working properly. In addition to the following procedures, ensure you inform your Chain of Command and/or Type Commander. Follow all safety and tagout procedures in accordance with all applicable documents when removing TVSS from its current location. Call MGD 970.884.0508 or 888.722.3420 to report inoperability or to speak with Engineering on proper application or circumstances of failure. Ship the failed TVSS, along with your contact information to: Magney Grande, Inc. 4323 C.R. 502 Bayfield, CO 81122 USA Attn: Amy Coombs The “ship to” address for the new unit must be included with the shipment of the failed TVSS to ensure proper receipt of the replacement unit. If requested by the customer, a failure analysis will be preformed, and failed TVSS devices will be replaced under warranty. A new unit will be shipped to you at the address you have indicated. All units will be shipped via FEDEX unless otherwise specified. Magney Grande also accepts photographs of failed TVSS units for warranty replacement. Two digital images are required in order to process warranties electronically. One digital image must clearly show the name plate information on the TVSS, to include model #, Serial # and Date of Manufacture. The second image would ideally demonstrate the failure, where possible. Please e-mail the photographs, along with the address where you would like the replacement shipped, to amy@magneygrande.com. Under normal circumstances, the warranty replacement process takes approximately 2 weeks to complete.
